Hello and welcome!
The band has been formed for over 100 years and has always been based in the City of Sheffield, playing in the past at events in the UK, Europe and further afield on occasions. Playing with other bands and engaging with their members is one of the great benefits of being involved with our band.
We are a family band that likes to support a wide variety of events. Whatever your event is we will be able to provide you with a friendly and quality Pipe Band experience.
On Tuesday evenings, we have a strong development focus for beginners and novice players. Our Thursday night rehearsals are for the main band and experienced players, with an average standard at RSPBA Grade 4a to 3a.
We always welcome new members so check out the Join the Band page to find out how you can get involved as a piper, drummer or to join us as a non-playing member.
The City of Sheffield Pipe Band is a member of Making Music (UK). https://www.makingmusic.org.uk
