Nijmegen – A trip to the Netherlands

The band have returned from 3 days and 4 nights in The Netherlands – we were joined on the trip by Dunfermline & District (RBL) Pipe Band. The main reason for the trip was to take part in the last day of the Vierdaagse Parade along with the Holland Massed Pipes and Drums.

This event was a particularly poignant occasion for us, as our Drum Major – Dave White would retire at the end of the parade. Wakefield Miners’ Memorial

29 May – Wakefield Miners’ The City of Sheffield Pipe Band had the great pleasure in leading the Parade for the Wakefield Miners Memorial. Well done to everyone who were involved with its creation, a very worthy project. A big thanks for your kindness and hospitality on the day.
